Har Ki Pauri
This is the holly river bank on river GANGA. The place is in Haridwar in Uttarakhand. This bank is one of the major bank in Haridwar.
Every evening holly prayers are offered to river ganga due to which a huge crowd gather on the both sides of the river. The prayer ceremony is so beautiful and peaceful to attend. People get a holly bath in the river Ganga. It is said that river Ganga washes our sins if we bath in it with our full respect toward nature.
The place is great not only a religious destination but also as a tourist destination.
The places also has many hotels and restaurants near it where tasty food is served. Near Haridwar, there are several places to be discovered like Raja ji national park, Shree Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Pawan Dham, Daksheswara Mahadeva temple, Rishikesh and you can also go to Masouri, Dehradun which I will cover in next posts.
You should go there from Feb to mid June and you can also join the Kumbh Mela there.
It is one of the best place to visit in your holidays. So, BE THERE!!
